中国商飞公司5月3日发布消息称，综合各方面因素，国产大型客机C919将于5月5日在上海浦东国际机场首飞。如天气条件不具备，则顺延。
C919简介
C919全称“COMAC919”。“COMAC”是中国商用飞机有限责任公司英文名称的简写，“C”是COMAC的第一个字母，也是中国的英文名称China的第一个字母。第一个“9”寓意天长地久、经久不衰，“19”代表我的最大载客量是190座。作为我国拥有自主知识产权的中短程商用干线飞机，C919有着非常不错的性能指标。C919客舱布置分为混合级和全经济级。混合级为158座，全经济级为168座。其标准航程型设计航程为4075公里，增大航程型设计航程为5555公里，可满足航空公司对不同航线的运营需求。设计经济寿命为80000飞行小时/48000起落架次/25个日历年。最大商载18900千克，标准商载15010千克。巡航速度达0.78倍音速，最大飞行高度达12131米，巡航高度为10668米。
订单总数达570架
C919作为着眼于最主流的航空运输市场（150座级），完全按照国际主流适航标准和国际主流市场运营标准研制的干线飞机，受到国内外市场的关注。目前，C919大型客机拥有中国国际航空公司等23家国内外用户，订单总数570架，其中包括美国通用电气租赁（GECAS）等国际客户。

Soon after it was established in 2008, COMAC began the research to develop the twin-engine C919, which would be used for medium-haul flights with 158 to 174 seats. It is expected to compete with the updated Airbus A320 and the new-generation Boeing B737. China has its own military and regional aircraft manufacturers, and the development of the airplane serves as a key index to assess the country's industrial and technical manufacturing capacity.

"The first flight of the C919 signals that China will be able to make a significant breakthrough for the country's civil aircraft manufacturing industry, and it could have the opportunity to break the monopolies of Boeing and Airbus," said Lin Zhijie, an aviation industry analyst and columnist at Carnoc.com, a large Chinese civil aviation website. 
航空业分析家、民航资源网（国内大型民航类网站）专栏作家林智杰说：“C919飞机的首飞是一个信号，这意味着中国将在国产民用飞机制造业实现重要突破，中国将有机会打破波音公司和空中客车集团的垄断。”

Despite the promising future, Lin said the C919's entry to the market won't occur soon. The date it goes into operation is expected to be between 2020 and 2022.

So far, COMAC has received 570 orders for the C919 from 23 clients, including domestic airlines such as the State-owned Air China, China Southern and China Eastern; and private airlines Hainan Airlines and Sichuan Airlines. China Eastern will be the first to take delivery.
